This leopard was at a distance of about 100 meters away posing in a tree after just waking up.
...happy to have a 100-400mm lens with stabilization .....
 
After having a battle with a branche and some posing and stretching he jumped out of the tree and disappeared into the bush.

This leopard had a kill hanging in the tree. We saw the kill first so waited and waited ....... and after 30 minutes the leopard came back to his dinner.

He is an impressive male and stayed there for about 20 minutes before he moved away to another little bush to sleep. We could not see him there anymore so we left this beautiful leopard to continue our afternoon drive.

Well ...many sightings with leopards are like this .... in many cases even worse when you do not even get the chance to have your camera ready ...
