Spectaculair sighting with:
6 lions, a kill (zebra) and 20 hyena's

Just about 7 km south of Satara along the main road there was a kill by Lions.

At the time we arrived the lions start eating again in a scenery where one by one 20 hyena's were coming together to try to get a piece of the zebra.

Wel...... I added 3 pages with pictures of this fascinating sighting as a complete as possible pictorial..... There are some pictures with details of the killed zebra so be aware of this.

At the beginning:
One male lion was next to the kill (zebra)

3 more lions were on their way to join the male to eat again.

With some noise and acting the male lion accepted the 3 other lions.

Male nr 2 decided that he could eat a bit more allthough he was filled as you can see......

He approached and showed me his teeth after I promised he to put him on the internet .....smile.....

Eating in peace together except one other male who stayed in the background.....

First of the hyena's who tried to come a bit closer and to see if there will be anything left for them.....
