Many people do not like Hyena. During my stay I met several Hyena at many different locations and I must say I began to like them. Most of the sightings were very closeby, even near my car so close that only my door/window was between us.
In one of the KNP papers was a incoming article that some people were worried about the Black-Backed Jackal since they almost did not see them .... well, I met 7 of them also very closeby ....so hope you like the pictures and get a bit the same feeling I got.....

Early in the morning I met this Hyena family, 2 adults and 3 puppies..... They were very curious and came very close to my door looking friendly at me with big black eyes. Not showing teeth, no noice , just a wonderfull sighting or "meeting" .....

Driving from Satara to Lower Sabie I met this beautiful Jackal, very curious and walking around the car. 2 Km ahead I met a couple (last 2 pictures)

Driving from Crocodile Bridge to Lower Sabie I saw 3 "things" on the road... coming closer it were 3 hyena's with a 4th one appearing a bit later ......

Near Crocodile Bridge (Duke's Waterhole) I saw this heyena in the water, I guess she "was" pregnant and cooling down a bit , just for delivery...?
